Many fear the end of the mayan calendar as a warning of the end of the world when the calendar ends on dec 21st, however, imagine being the fella creating the calendar. Day in and day out documenting the dates as the elders party around a bon fire. Asking his boss, hey joe - how long do you expect me to make this thing.. i'm getting carpal tunnel over here, do we really need a calendar that goes forever. perhaps joe simply replied, ok frank - go ahead and stop on december 2012
