Tantalizing the taste buds - Life is meant to be a sensory experience...

Do you drink a lot of coffee?... Tea perhaps? When was the last time that daily beverage knocked your socks off? ( with the exception of those tantalizingly addictive overly priced drinks from places with snappy names and intoxicating smells) Life is meant to be a sensory experience. As cliché as it is, Life is a journey - not a destination and unfortunately it flies by in a blink of an eye. Make the most mundane of experiences extraordinary. If you're drinking it just for the caffeine just pop a vivran or no dose and skip the beverage all together.

Put thought into that morning cup o' joe. Layer the flavors just as you would a decadent desert. If you're concerned about calories, have the coffee but park in the back of the lot at work and burn the calories before you set foot in the office. Skipping the elevator and taking the stairs just once during the day will more than burn off any coffee/tea indulgence.

Enjoying the flavors of life can energize you more than the caffeine. Try creating your own little beverage recipe book (have a hard to shop for loved one on your holiday shopping list? perhaps put together a little booklet on fancy paper of your favorite recipes you've come up with and attach to a goodie bag of flavored coffees, teas, creamers, accents etc. They'll be sure to Taste the Love.

Need some ideas to get you started?
Try one of these & pay homage to your senses.

Pumpkin spice coffee combined with a dash of Snickerdoodle and a wee bit of french vanilla flavored coffee. Accent the flavors of the brewed coffee with splashes of Baily's (non alcoholic) vanilla brown sugar and a hint of their 'Creme brulee' and a dash of International Delight's 'Pumpkin Pie Spice'.

One of my favorites is Dunkin Donuts 'Glazed Chocolate Donut' (from their bakery collection) with Coffee Mates 'thin mint Girl Scout Cookie'with a hint of Baily's 'creme brûlée'

A wonderful summer coffee is the blueberry. Dunkin makes an amazing blueberry muffin flavor, New England Coffee has a Blueberry coffee and Price Chopper Central market has a so/so Blueberry.

Pour (pun intended) through the abundance of flavored coffees for sale online. I've had an amazing carrot cake, an angel food cake, toasted almond and a red velvet which i found on ebay of all places. Seller was great, shipping fast and fair... So be adventurous and a bit if happy to your day.

The smell of the coffee brewing not only awakens the senses but also fills your home with a warm, inviting fragrance. (Aromatherapy doesn't have to be scents of florals and herbs to create a sense of well being and joy)

Create a taste sensation with your next mug of Hot CoaCoa: A splash Baily's Red Velvet Cupcake will create a warm fuzzy feeling on the chilliest of nights. Create a balance of flavors with a variety of flavored creamers. Make it pop with a dash if Peppermint flavored creamer or perhaps a bit of Coffee Mates "girl scout cookie-thin mint" flavor. Too with a few marshmellows , whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed candy cane and you'll have something that's not only delicious but visually pleasing as well.

'Alright Mr.DeMille, I'm NOT ready for my closeup!!!

The bear in the photo was where It shouldn't have been. I followed him. To get a better pic but it wasnt happening. Have to zoom in on the black in order to see that the pics of a bear. Cool none the less.
I've had people saw 'boy your brave , you came up on a bear and you stuck around to take photos' . Well, bravery has little to do with it. It had no cubs in tow, didn't rear, was merely forging for scarce food before hibernating - i felt no threat and kept a safe distance (hence the black blob pics vs. having a nice vivid pic... Wish i had my Nikon with me but a full sized camera, case and lenses doesn't work well with a young high energy pup)

Autumn in Connecticut - more iphone nature pics

(Fyi iphone users, I've been using the iphone software update and haven't had any issues nor has my dad who has been using the update much longer than I. If you're questioning whether or not to do the software 'enhancement' perhaps look into the likelihood of experiencing an issue with the update... Ask yourself the questions -1 out of "how many people" experience an issue and if an issue were to arise what would be the severity of the situation and what kind of fix would be required. Personally I just Love-Love-Love the enhacement. Wonderful ease of use with the camera, though still no app for stopping a pup from pulling , blurring ones's shot. Anywho, update adds a photoshop feel to the camera. No longer do you have to go into options to select pan, now you slide to select. Whether or not to download the update is a personal decision. If you do decide to give it a go, ... Good luck ... May the force be with you, may your iphone live long and prosper :0)
